-
The party is for all students who receive a Shakopee High School diploma during the 2021-2022 school year from Shakopee Senior High School or Tokata Learning Center.
-
The ticket purchase is only for the graduate's attendance at the party. Parents may volunteer for pre-party events and at the party here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080b4cada92ea2f49-ssgp9
-
The party will take place at WhirlyBall in Bloomington immediately following the graduation ceremony on June 11.
-
Once the graduation ceremony is over, graduates will go to the party registration table at door 3 at Grace Church. Graduates will need to check-in at the registration table and get their Tshirt and lanyard. They will need to change into their Tshirt and put on their lanyard before they can get on the bus.
-
Please plan on taking graduation pictures before the ceremony as there will not be much time to take pictures after the ceremony.
-
Graduates will leave directly from the graduation ceremony at Grace Church to WhirlyBall in Bloomington on buses coordinated by the Shakopee Senior Graduation Party.
-
Before graduates can get on the bus, they will need to sign a waiver from WhirlyBall. Click here to read what the waiver looks like. There is no need to bring a copy of the signed waiver, graduates will sign as they get on the bus.
-
This is a Lock-in event. The party begins at approximately 9pm on June 11 and ends at approximately 3am on Sunday, June 12.
-
At the end of the party, graduates will be bused from WhirlyBall to Shakopee High School to pick up their goodie bag and any prizes they may have won.
-
FOR SAFETY REASONS: Attendees are NOT allowed to
-
Drive themselves to or from the event
-
Bring bags, backpacks, purses etc.
-
-
Graduates will need to be picked up at Shakopee High School early Sunday morning (approximately 3:00am) by a parent or guardian. Graduates will have been up all night, so it would not be safe for them to get behind the wheel.
-
We have 3 volunteer positions available for parents/guardians to help at the party. Signup can be found here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080b4cada92ea2f49-ssgp9
-
Graduates do not need to bring money to the party.
-
Food at the party will include pizza, salad, bread, cookies, prepackaged chips, Qdoba chips and queso and donuts. None of these items will have nuts in them (except for the gluten-free cookies), but all food is made in facilities that also manufacture nuts. If a graduate needs to bring their own food, we ask that the parent/guardian bring the food item in a bag with the graduate’s name on it to the registration table at Grace Church. SSGP volunteers will bring the bag to the party for them.
